Started in 1976 by Tex Haines and Peter Prietto, Victoria Skimboards is the most authentic and innovative skimboard company in the world today. They have dominated the market for over 30 years which in today’s world of pop up companies and slick marketing is an amazing feat. Starting with the elongated wood board shapes of the late 60’s and 70’s, Victoria Skimboards progressively refined board shapes, introduced rocker, introduced the first foam core boards in 1980, developed the first regular use of the high tech polyvinyl foam, and refined the vacuum bagging techniques used by the vast majority of the industry today.

After a long day of pulls the Captain deserves a board that is going be sea worthy behind the boat. Our three fin thruster setup combined with a wider outline and fish tail puts a ton of drive and control into this board. Since Taylor Dorey joined the Victoria family we have been working closely to build a board that holds up to her power and performance needs. Increasing the thickness by an 1/8th of an inch from our traditional thickness allows for an easier release off the top of the lip and helps float and recovery when riding on the back of the wave. A consistent outline creates a smooth transition while driving up the face of the wave as well as allows for increased surface area on a shorter board. Featuring EVA Diamond Machined Traction System.

At the forefront of progression, the 2021 PCX is designed to offer the lightest most responsive board on the market. By decreasing the width and redistributing that volume into other parts of the board we have built in more performance without sacrificing forgiveness. Constructed with an aerospace grade high density PVC foam core and FULL Carbon Fiber Layup, the PCX continues to push what is possible in wakesurf board engineering. The presence of Carbon Fiber in the top and bottom of the board increases stiffness and response while cutting the total weight, allowing the rider to control the board with ease. The increased stiffness adds pop and response giving you direct feedback allowing you to progress at the highest level.
