The 31′′ Toledo #77 model is suited to teenage to adult surfers 5”4’ – 5”10’ (162cm – 177cm) in height. It is the signature model of 2022 World Champion Filipe Toledo. The 31” model is a smaller model of the 32.5” Toledo #77 model as it gives smaller riders the ability to ride Filipe’s model.
The 31” model has medium wheels on the front and back which are suited to lighter riders. Filipe loved the idea of a black simplistic design. Together we worked on a mixture of black matt and black gloss which looks awesome.

The 31” Toledo #77 is the newest SmoothStar model for our team rider and 2022 World Champion Filipe Toledo. Filipe was specific in the design process…and we delivered. The Toledo 31″ is a smaller cut down version of his 32.5″ model. This enables smaller and lighter riders to enjoy riding the #77 Toledo model. The matt black deck with his #77 in gloss is what Filipe wanted.
The 31″ model has a flatter concave compared with the 32.5″ model. The flatter deck provide a faster rail-to-rail sensation and is excellent to generate speed. It has a wider than normal kick tail so your toes don’t hand off the edge of the deck – this gives the rider the ability to push harder off the back foot.
The 31″ Toledo #77 Pro model comes with the new SmoothStar Thruster D technology. The Thruster D is the latest in precision engineering that gives surfers the ultimate surf feeling with 15-12% more hold and drive through your surf turns. It’s also lighter.

The 31″ Toledo model has medium wheels on the front and back of the board.
Apart from the outline shape of the board, there are almost no differences between these two model. They have the same wheelbase and the same wheel thickness. The both are suited to young teens to smaller height adults.
The black Toledo #77 model is arguably the #1 selling surfskate/surf training board in the world. Many young groms or below average height adults were frustrated that it only came in a bigger size, despite their love for the board and of course being big fans of Filipe Toledo – the 2022 World Champion.
